Dear Prospective Client,
Although it may seem unfair to ask a 13-17 year old what they want to do as a career, it is even more unfair to ask them to make the final decision on a potential $300,000 four-year college education. Fortunately, you’ve found Academy College Coaches, and we look forward to helping your child achieve their future goals. Thank you for considering us to meet your college planning needs.
For many families, planning for college is a confusing and emotional experience that often creates tension between students and their parents. ACC coaches minimize the stress of the process and maximize the outcomes. We work with students in setting and managing timelines, identifying majors that meet their aptitude and career expectations, building a college list and assisting in writing essays that capture their true spirit. Most importantly we get them to identify their strengths and assist them in communicating them through their applications.
Our goal is for students to get into their dream college, graduate in four years, and either gain employment or admission into graduate school. As an ACC client, your child will work with a highly trained college coach who has years of experience in college counseling, as well as career and personal development. Our track records in placing students into the most competitive colleges is second to none. We have successfully placed hundreds of first generation students into Ivy League schools and other top colleges throughout the country.
Take the first step towards the college of your dreams & schedule your free ACC consultation today!

Victoria Tang
Victoria has a nuanced grasp of the questions and challenges that students may be struggling with, having recently experienced these application processes herself. She approaches college counselling with the acknowledgement that the American admissions system is (deeply) flawed: her job as a coach is not to help students “game the system” or jump through hoops, but to focus on the self-awareness, growth, and resilience that will help them succeed in college and beyond. She enjoys having open conversations with students to develop authentic, impactful topics, and helping them build effective writing strategies to prepare for the future.
As a second-generation Chinese-American with work experience in China and the UK, Victoria understands the challenges that cultural background can bring to the college admissions journey and is able to liaise between students and parents. Victoria also has experience with a range of academic disciplines, having prioritized interdisciplinary studies in her own studies. She is always happy to speak with students about anything from humanities work within museum collections to lab research in a clinical setting, and the exciting range of opportunities they’ll discover in college!
